My name is Álvaro, I’m Chilean, and since 2016, I’ve dedicated myself to traveling. So far, I’ve traveled to 80 countries by motorcycle, accumulating 540,000 kilometers across 4 continents.
Today, I share my experience by advising and supporting travelers in their planning.
About me
For 23 years, I worked in the Chilean Air Force, holding various positions in finance organizations first and later in operations, always immersed in the world of military and commercial aviation. Thanks to this, I had the opportunity to lead an Antarctic base for 9 months.
In 2016, I left the Air Force to fulfill my dream of completing a round-the-world journey on my BMW R1200GS, a challenge I completed in 2020 as the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic began. During that time, I covered nearly 200,000 kilometers across 4 continents, absorbing cultures and experiences that changed my worldview. Throughout the journey, I was an ambassador for BMW Motorrad Chile, who were always ready to support my challenge.
In 2023, I began working with KTM Chile, organizing and leading customer loyalty trips, as well as accompanying clients to test motorcycles of their interest.
Today, I return to my independent life, reconnect with my nomadic roots, and share my travel knowledge through this channel.
